His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated on a phone call Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune on his re-election as president of the brotherly country.
His Highness the Amir wished progress and prosperity for Algeria and its people.
The bilateral ties between the two countries were also touched on during the phone call.
In turn, the Algerian president thanked His Highness the Amir for his sincere sentiments, expressing appreciation for the invitation of His Highness to visit Kuwait.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations Monday to Sri Lanka's newly elected president Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir wished the president all success and further progress and prosperity for Sri Lanka and its people.

The Amiri Diwan announced on Sunday that His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah do not have any social media accounts, adding that all legal measures would be taken against fake accounts.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Sunday His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, after heading Kuwait's delegation in the high-level week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, which was held in New York City.
His Highness the Amir also received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Further, His Highness the Amir received First Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Sabah.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday sent a cable to Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al-Mualla, on the death of Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmad bin Rashid Al-Mualla.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir prayed to Allah the Almighty to bestow mercy upon the deceased and to grant his family patience and solace.

The Amiri Diwan on Sunday issued the following statement, "On behalf of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the gracious Al-Sabah family, the Diwan extends deep gratitude to the citizens and residents of the country, who took part in offering condolences on demise of Sheikh Meshal Abdulaziz Al-Malek Al-Sabah".
