His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation arrived Tuesday in the Sultanate of Oman for a fraternal visit.
At the forefront of those receiving His Highness upon arrival were Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of the Royal Office Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi , Minister of Interior Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Chief of the Special Office Dr. Hamad bin Said Al-Awfi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Minister of Energy and Minerals Eng. Salem bin Nasser Al-Awfi, and Kuwait's Ambassador to the Sultanate Dr. Mohammad Al-Hajri.
His Highness the Amir is accompanied by Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Dr. Sheikh Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Chief of His Highness the Amir's Office Retired Lieutenant General Jamal Theyab, Deputy Chairman and CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, and Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Monday at Bayan Palace Minister of Oil Tareq Al-Roumi, Deputy Chairman of the Board and CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah and CEO of Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Ahmad Jaber Al-Eidan.
During the reception, they briefed His Highness the Amir on the newly discovered Al-Jazza field of natural gas, which is considered an accomplishment in the Kuwait maritime area, recording the highest production rate of a vertical well in the Minagish formation in Kuwait’s history, as part of KOC's efforts.
The top officials presented His Highness the Amir with a commemorative gift on this occasion.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Sunday an official invitation from Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi to attend Monday's Sharm El-Sheikh Summit dedicated to signing the agreement ending the war in the Gaza Strip.
A statement by the Foreign Ministry said that the letter of invitation was handed over by Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Abu Al-Wafa to Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya during a ceremony.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has addressed a cable to Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi expressing congratulations on the appointment of Dr. Khaled Ahmad Al-Enani as Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
His Highness the Amir expressed pride of this high-esteem designation for Dr. Al-Enani, wished him success and expressed good wishes to the Egyptian president.

Seeing His Highness the Amir off at the Kuwait International Airport were His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, and Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, will depart the country on Tuesday, October 14, heading to the Sultanate of Oman on a fraternal visit, accompanied by an official delegation.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Sunday a cable of condolences to Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, expressing sympathy over the accident, which claimed the lives of several Amiri Diwan staff members and left others injured while duty in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir offered his condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the families of victims, wishing the injured speedy recovery.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Thursday a cable to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, congratulating him on the occasion of his birthday.
His Highness the Amir wished President Putin good health and the Russian people further progress and development.
