His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Thursday a cable of condolences to Acting President of the friendly Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Delcy Rodriguez, expressing his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy over the victims of the two earthquakes that struck Venezuela.
In his cable, His Highness the Amir conveyed his sorrow over the loss of lives, injuries and damage to property and public facilities resulting from the disaster.
He prayed to Almighty Allah for speedy recovery for the injured and expressed hope that officials in the friendly country would be able to contain and overcome the effects of the natural disaster.

The talks were attended by a number of Kuwaiti state officials, including Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Al-Sabah, His Highness the Amir's office chief Retired Lieutenant General Jamal Al-Theyab and Amiri Diwan undersecretary Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sabah, in addition to Amiri Diwan's undersecretary for foreign affairs Mazen Al-Issa and Kuwaiti ambassador to Washington Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah.
