His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Thursday a cable of congratulations to the head of the Presidential Leadership Council President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi on the advent of his country's national day.
His Highness the Amir wished President Al-Alimi and his people more progress, development, stability, and peace through Yemen.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Tuesday a cable of congratulations to the President of Cameroon Paul Biya on the advent of his country's national day.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir expressed deep wishes of good health and welfare to the President and his people.

A ceremony was held Monday morning at Bayan Palace where His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received the credentials of the following new ambassadors to Kuwait: Dr. Zafar Iqbal of Pakistan, Andreas Panayiotou of Cyprus, Juan Carlos Staben Boillat of El Salvador, Arsen Alexander Arakelyan of Armenia, and Lakshitha Pradeep Ratnayake of Sri Lanka.
Senior state officials attended the ceremony.

His Highness the Amir also received at Al-Seif Palace Chief of Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah.

He proudly noted the honorary patriotic stands that have been taken by the Kuwaiti women in various phases of the homeland history, demonstrating sincere commitment in serving the dear homeland, thus earning widespread admiration.
He lauded the Kuwaiti woman achievements namely attaining her full franchise and congratulated all Kuwaiti women on this annual occasion, wishing them success in continuing their faithful giving for the homeland.
