His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Wednesday a cable of congratulations to the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on the 12th anniversary of assuming post.
His Highness the Amir commended the Qatari leader for the various achievements during his reign, wishing him and the people of Qatar evermore progress, development, and welfare.
His Highness the Amir also commended the level of cooperation between the two brotherly countries, expressed desire to further solidify relations.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday evening called Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in the aftermath of the missile attack launched by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Al-Udeid air base.
During the phone call, His Highness the Amir voiced Kuwait's emphatic condemnation and denunciation of this obvious aggression as a clear breach of Qatar's sovereignty and airspace, as well as international law and the UN Charter.
His Highness reiterated that the State of Kuwait absolutely stands side by side with Qatar's leadership, government and people, and utterly backs all measures and decisions it is taking to safeguard its sovereignty, security and stability.
His Highness the Amir also underlined Kuwait's readiness to use all its potential and resources to support the State of Qatar, stressing that Qatar's security and stability are an integral part of Kuwait's security and stability.
The Amir of Qatar, for his part, voiced much thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and the State of Kuwait and its people progress and development.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Monday a cable of congratulations to the Duke of Luxembourg, Grand Duke Henri on his country's national day.
His Highness the Amir wished Grand Duke Henri good health and well-being, and the Duchy of Luxembourg and its friendly people all progress and prosperity.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Sunday a phone call from UAE President Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
During the call, the two sides reviewed the brotherly relations between the two countries and discussed the latest developments in the Middle East, as well as the conflict between Iran and the Israeli occupation.
His Highness the Amir and Sheikh Mohammad Al-Nahyan also discussed the latest regional and international developments.

His Highness the Amir and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah resided on Tuesday a meeting of the Supreme Defense Council in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, to follow up on the latest regional developments.
His Highness the Amir was briefed on all the efforts made by the concerned authorities in the country, the coordination between them, the extent of their readiness, and the high level of preparedness among these various sectors to confront any emergency.
Further, His Highness directed all concern parties to take all necessary measures and precautions to preserve the country's security and stability.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences Monday to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz over the demise of Prince Faisal bin Khaled bin Mohammad Al-Saud.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy upon the deceased.
