  Kuwait Amir congratulates Montenegro on nat'l day

  Kuwait declares four-day mourning over death of Qatar's Father Amir

  By the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, official mourning has been declared for four days following the death of Qatar's Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
  Flags will be flown at half-mast across Kuwait and at the country's diplomatic missions abroad, effective Sunday, July 12, 2026, corresponding to Muharram 27, 1448 AH.
  The Amiri Diwan prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy upon the deceased.

  Kuwait Amir offers condolences over Qatar's Father Amir passing

  His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences on Sunday to the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, expressing profound sorrow over the passing of Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
  His Highness conveyed, on behalf of himself, the Government and people of Kuwait, heartfelt condolences to Sheikh Tamim, the ruling family and the people of Qatar, praying for mercy upon the late Father Amir.
  The Amir said Qatar, the Gulf family, the Arab and Islamic nations, and the world had lost a distinguished leader known for his wisdom, who devoted his life to serving his country and supporting Arab and Islamic causes.
  His Highness recalled his close brotherly relationship with the late Father Amir, affirming Kuwait would always remember with pride Qatar's support, particularly during the Iraqi occupation.
  The Amir also praised Qatar's remarkable development under the late Father Amir's leadership, praying that Allah Almighty grants him eternal mercy and bestows patience and solace upon Qatar's leadership, ruling family and people.

  Kuwait Amir receives Crown Prince, PM, officials

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace on Sunday, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
  His Highness the Amir also received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
  His Highness later received First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah.
  The Amir also received Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, followed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

  Kuwait Amir receives UAE Pres., hold summit talks

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Thursday President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and his accompanying delegation on their official visit to the country.
  His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah were also present at the audience of Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed.
  During the meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to support and develop bilateral relations in all fields, emphasizing the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation to serve their common interests.
  They also discussed the latest regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the Middle East, affirming their countries' support for all initiatives, endeavors, and efforts aimed at establishing peace, security and stability in the region.
  The meeting also addressed key issues of common interest in the Gulf, and emphasized the importance of strengthening unity and advancing GCC countries to fulfill the aspirations of their people for further development and prosperity.
  The meeting was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, and Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah and Head of the Crown Prince's Diwan Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

  UAE Pres. arrives in Kuwait

  His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, arrived in Kuwait on Thursday on a fraternal visit.
  He was received at the airport by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
  Also welcoming the UAE President were His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah, and Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah.
  The UAE President is accompanied by a delegation including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Court Chairman Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Presidential Adviser Sheikh Mohammad bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al-Nahyan, and other senior UAE officials.

  Kuwait Amir receives chiefs of KDIPA, KIA, Brookfield, senior official

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Tuesday Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah.
  His Highness the Amir also received Assistant Director General for Investment Operations at KDIPA Sheikh Abdullah Sabah Humoud Al-Sabah, Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Corporation Bruce Flatt, and the accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to the country.
  During the meeting, His Highness the Amir stressed the importance of supporting investment and economic opportunities and fostering a competitive business environment that strengthens strategic partnerships with foreign companies.
  He said such efforts would facilitate the exchange and localization of expertise, attract global investments, support the national economy, create employment opportunities for young people, accelerate development and achieve sustainable development goals.
  For his part, Flatt and the accompanying delegation expressed their appreciation for meeting His Highness the Amir, reaffirming the company's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the relevant authorities in Kuwait and exploring further investment opportunities to support development projects and expand partnership prospects, contributing to the growth and development of the national economy.
