He said the generous reception offered to him and his accompanying delegation, reflected the deep-rooted historical ties between both countries. His Highness the Amir commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its influential role and esteemed position at the regional and international levels, and acknowledged its efforts in addressing key challenges, particularly its steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.
Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of unifying perspectives on crises of mutual concern to ensure more stable and prosperous future for our nations and people. Finally, he prayed to the Almighty Allah to grant the Saudi Crown Prince everlasting well-being, and the sisterly Kingdom sustained progress and prosperity, under the wise leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Friday evening after leading Kuwait delegation to a consultative meeting by the leaders of the GCC states, Egypt and Jordan in Riyadh.
He expressed profound gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality offered to him and his entourage during his official visit to the Kingdom.
In his message, His Highness the Amir spoke highly of the deep-rooted historical bonds between the brotherly peoples of both countries.
Commending the just-ended consultative meeting, he said it reflected the distinguished status of the Kingdom and leading role on the regional and international arenas amid "highly-complicated challenges in our region." He cited as an example of those challenges the suffering of the brotherly people of Palestine.
His Highness the Amir expressed hope that the countries would share same views on the major issues of common concern in order to "ensure better future and realize the aspirations of our nations." He wished King Salman everlasting wellbeing and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia more prosperity and progress under his wise leadership.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Thursday a letter from Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov, on the bilateral ties between the two countries.
This came during the reception of Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubayev, Thursday, on the occasion of his official visit and the accompanying delegation to Kuwait.
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah also received a similar letter from the Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adilbek Kasmaliev.
Following the meeting, two memoranda of understanding were signed between the two friendly countries, on the establishment of a joint committee for cooperation between the governments and another between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs represented by the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute, and the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs represented by the Diplomatic Academy on diplomatic training programs
