His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, will depart the country on Tuesday, October 14, heading to the Sultanate of Oman on a fraternal visit, accompanied by an official delegation.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Sunday a cable of condolences to Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, expressing sympathy over the accident, which claimed the lives of several Amiri Diwan staff members and left others injured while duty in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir offered his condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the families of victims, wishing the injured speedy recovery.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Thursday a cable to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, congratulating him on the occasion of his birthday.
His Highness the Amir wished President Putin good health and the Russian people further progress and development.

A statement by the Foreign Ministry said that the letter of invitation was handed over by Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Abu Al-Wafa to Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya during a ceremony.

His Highness the Amir wished President Museveni good health and Uganda continued progress and prosperity.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received the visiting President of UAE Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and his accompanying delegation.
During the reception, both sides touched on the bilateral ties between the two countries and emphasizing the importance of consolidating the frameworks of bilateral cooperation between in a way that serves their mutual interests, especially in the economic and development fields.

His Highness and Sheikh Mohammad stressed the need for continued international efforts to recognize the Palestinian state to achieve all the aspirations and hopes of the brotherly Palestinian people. During the meeting, the most important issues of common Gulf interest were also discussed.
