His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Sunday a cable of condolences to Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, expressing sympathy over the accident, which claimed the lives of several Amiri Diwan staff members and left others injured while duty in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir offered his condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the families of victims, wishing the injured speedy recovery.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Sunday an official invitation from Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi to attend Monday's Sharm El-Sheikh Summit dedicated to signing the agreement ending the war in the Gaza Strip.
A statement by the Foreign Ministry said that the letter of invitation was handed over by Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Abu Al-Wafa to Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya during a ceremony.

His Highness the Amir expressed pride of this high-esteem designation for Dr. Al-Enani, wished him success and expressed good wishes to the Egyptian president.

Kuwait Amir receives UAE President, accompanying delegation

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received the visiting President of UAE Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and his accompanying delegation.
During the reception, both sides touched on the bilateral ties between the two countries and emphasizing the importance of consolidating the frameworks of bilateral cooperation between in a way that serves their mutual interests, especially in the economic and development fields.
His Highness the Amir and Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed affirmed support to all initiatives and efforts aimed at establishing the foundations of comprehensive and just peace based on the two-state solution and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to achieve security and stability in the region. His Highness and Sheikh Mohammad stressed the need for continued international efforts to recognize the Palestinian state to achieve all the aspirations and hopes of the brotherly Palestinian people. During the meeting, the most important issues of common Gulf interest were also discussed.
