His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah attended and patronized the graduation ceremony of the Ali Al-Sabah Military Academy 50th batch of officer cadets.
His Highness the Amir was received by Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and Kuwaiti Army Deputy Chief-of-Staff Air Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Acting Defense Ministry Undersecretary Sheikha Dr. Shamayel Ahmad Al-Sabah and Academy Commander Fawaz Al-Musailem as well as other officials.
Attending the graduation ceremony were His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah, Chief of Higher Judicial Council Dr. Adel Buresli, state top officials as well as crowds of graduate families.
Academy Commander gave a speech at the ceremony, thanking His Highness the Amir for his unlimited and continuous support to the youth, saying that his attendance and patronage are an emblem of his great care for the new generation of officers.
He took the opportunity to reflect on what the Academy offers of training courses that surpass military duty ad necessary skills but instill model humanitarian values that help create honest and active leaders.
Al-Musailem addressed the graduates calling them leaders of the future, and told them this is not the end of the journey but it is the beginning of a new stage that requires diligence, innovation and a sense of responsibility.
He also addressed parents and families of the graduates appreciating their role and efforts in cultivating their children.
The commander also extended gratitude to military leadership who have contributed to developing the army, alleviating obstacles and instilling sense of nationalism in the armed forces.
Concluding his speech, Al-Musailem vowed to remain loyal to the homeland, committed to its safekeeping, and to stand in protection of its safety and stability.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal honored the Academy's top graduates, and he was given a gift to mark the occasion.
The ceremony then commenced and the newly graduated officer cadets took the oath.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahamd Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, will attend and sponsor on Wednesday, the graduation of the 50th batch officers cadets at Ali Al-Sabah Military Academy at 10:00 a.m. local-time.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent, on Monday, a cable of condolences to the President of the Republic of Namibia, Nangolo Mbumba, on the passing away of former president of the Republic of Namibia, Sam Nujoma.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir expressed sincere condolences and sympathy.

Under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and with attendance of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, a ceremony was held at Bayan Palace on Monday to honor Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award winners of the 24th edition of 2024.
His Highness the Amir arrived at the venue and was warmly welcomed by Head of the Award Board of Trustees Sheikha Ayda Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah and members of the organizing committee.
Addressing the ceremony, Sheikha Ayda Salem Al-Sabah remembered the late founder of the award, Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, saying that he had got plenty of farsightedness, deep wisdom and giving and had anticipated the significance of technologies.
She added that progress made over less than a quarter century is the fruit of Amiri directives, commending His Highness the Amir for his patronage of this award.
On his part, Dr. Taher Ameen Al-Jamal, the winner of the award, said that he was pleased to have been in Kuwait and granted the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award, which is a beacon in digital societies.
He boasted that he was so lucky to have worked with the best scientists in the field of encryption after having gained access to the cutting-edge advancement in this science through working with Prof. Hellman during his doctoral study.
He added that his work at the RSA Security had also granted him the opportunity to partake in the initial stages of making encryption practical and effective, something which he said enabled him to join Netscape Communications Corporation with a deep understanding of new global digital needs.
The SSL protocol, now known as TLS, is considered a genuine turning point in the world since this technology is nowadays used to secure all digital communications.
He said that it was amazing for him to be an integral part of building this digital society as his work at Netscape has made him a key contributor to forming this cybersecurity.
His Highness the Amir then honored the winners of the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award, and was given a souvenir on this occasion.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations Tuesday to the Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, on the occasion of his country's national day.
His Highness the Amir expressed wishes of long healthy life to the President and further prosperity for his country and people.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is to patronize, with the attendance of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the inauguration ceremony of the new Palace of Justice building, tomorrow (Tuesday) at 06:00 pm, according to an Amiri Diwan statement.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Monday a cable of condolences to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on demise of former Prime Minister Sid Ahmed Ghozali.
His Highness the Amir prayed to Allah Almighty for mercy for the deceased, and for solace to his family.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Iraq and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) Mohammad Al-Hassan at Al-Seif Palace on Sunday on the occasion of his visit to Kuwait.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya attended the meeting.
