The Amiri Diwan on Sunday issued the following statement, "On behalf of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the gracious Al-Sabah family, the Diwan extends deep gratitude to the citizens and residents of the country, who took part in offering condolences on demise of Sheikh Meshal Abdulaziz Al-Malek Al-Sabah".

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Sunday His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Amir also received First Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent Sunday a congratulatory cable to Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, on occasion of the national day, in which he commended the depth of the firm fraternal relations, and recalled Saudi's steadfast stances by Arab and Islamic causes.
His Highness the Amir also voiced pride in all that Saudi Arabia has achieved under the leadership of King Salman, wishing the King good health and wellbeing to continue leading Saudi to further growth and prosperity, flanked by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Saturday a cable of congratulations to Malta's President Myriam Spiteri Debono on her country's National Day.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir wished the President well-being, and Malta and its friendly people further progress and prosperity.

The Amiri Diwan announced on Sunday that His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah do not have any social media accounts, adding that all legal measures would be taken against fake accounts.
