His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace Wednesday morning.
His Highness also received Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to the family of martyr of duty (First Warrant Officer) Salem Al-Ajmi, who passed away yesterday in duty dealing with a fire incident.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir extended heartfelt condolences to the martyr's family, prayed to Almighty Allah to bless the martyr and grant his family patience and solace.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Saturday messages of congratulations on Eid Al-Fitr, which begins on Sunday, tomorrow.
The Eid congratulations were sent by His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, chairman of National Guard Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
In the messages, the senior officials expressed sincere congratulations on Eid Al-Fitr to His Highness the Amir, praying to Allah Almighty to repeat this occasion on the dear homeland with further security, safety, progress and prosperity.
They wished His Highness the Amir everlasting good health and keeping him a leader for Kuwait's path of success and progress.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir sent reply messages to them that included sincere thanks for these good sentiments and prayers on this happy occasion.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable to the UAE Federal Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla to offer his sincere condolences over the passing away of Sheikh Saud's mother Sheikha Hessa bint Humaid bin Abdulrahman Al Shamsi.

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable to King Maha Vajiralongkorn, of the Kingdom of Thailand, to extend his sincere condolence on the earthquake victims.
In his cable, His Highness the Amir expressed sorrow over the tragedy which claimed the lives of many people, injured many others and caused a wide array of destruction to public and private properties.
His Highness the Amir also wished the injured people speedy recovery and authorities in the Kingdom of Thailand to overcome the consequences of this natural disaster.
