His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Wednesday a cable to President of Ethiopia Taye Atske, expressing his sincere congratulations on being elected as president and taking the constitutional oath.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir wished president Atske good health and wellbeing, and further development for Ethiopia and its people.

His Highness wished him a long healthy life and more development and prosperity for the people of Uganda.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace Tuesday Dubai Crown Prince, UAE Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashed Al-Maktoum and the accompanying delegation on their official visit to the country.
During the reception, Sheikh Hamdan conveyed greetings from President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashed Al-Maktoum to His Highness the Amir, wishing Kuwait and its people further progress and development.
His Highness the Amir returned the greetings to the top Emirati officials, wishing them, the UAE, and its people development, progress, and welfare.
The reception featured discussion of mutual respect and also touched on means to boost cooperation between both countries on all possible domains.
Talks also touched on regional and international developments.
First Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah and senior state officials were present at the reception.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Tuesday the Ambassadors of South Sudan, Honduras, Bangladesh, Algeria, and Kyrgyzstan who handed their credentials during a ceremony at Bayan Palace.
Senior state officials attended the ceremony.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace on Wednesday the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassadors of South Korea, Czech Republic, Spain, Somalia, France, and Burkina Faso.

In the cable, His Highness the Amir expressed his sincere condolences on the demise of Prince Sultan bin Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
