His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolence to the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the passing of the mother of Prince Shaqran bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir expressed his heartfelt sympathy and wished solace and patience for the family.

His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received the President of the Republic of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, on his official visit to the country.
The meeting was attended by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
An official reception ceremony was held in honor of President Faye, beginning with the playing of the national anthems of both countries. Official talks were subsequently held between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Senegal. His Highness the Amir headed the Kuwaiti side, while President Faye led the Senegalese side, with the attendance of the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, and a number of senior officials from both countries.
Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah stated that the talks touched on the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and peoples, and ways to develop them across all fields.
A luncheon banquet was also held in honor of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye and the accompanying official delegation.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and Bahraini Minister of Interior Lt. Gen. Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa, on his visit to Kuwait.
During the meeting, the Bahraini Minister conveyed to His Highness the greetings of King Hamad bin Isa of Bahrain, as well as his wishes for His Highness's continued good health and well-being, and for the people of Kuwait further progress and prosperity.
In turn, His Highness the Amir entrusted the Bahraini Minister with his greetings to King Hamad, along with his best wishes for lasting health and wellness. His Highness the Amir prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow further development and prosperity upon the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Director of His Highness the Amir's Office, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Jamal Mohammad Al-Thiyab, Undersecretary of the Amiri Diwan, Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshal Mubarak Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Amiri Diwan Mazen Issa Al-Issa, and Director General of the Coast Guard Major General (Naval) Sheikh Mubarak Ali Al-Yousef Al-Sabah.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Sunday His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Amir also received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Further, His Highness the Amir received the Head of Kuwait's National Guard, Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Amir received First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable on Sunday to the Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tareq, congratulating him on the anniversary of his throne assumption.
In his cable, His Highness the Amir praised the Sultanate's comprehensive development accomplishments covering various domains under the Sultan's leadership. His Highness the Amir commended the historical and fraternal relations between both countries and peoples, underlining permanent and joint interest in promoting and developing horizons of existing cooperation at all levels. His Highness the Amir also wished the Sultan of Oman good health and the Sultanate and its people further progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.
