Kuwait Amir congratulates Bahrain King on nat'l action charter anniversary

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain on the 25th anniversary of the endorsement of Bahrain's National Action Charter.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir expressed his sincere congratulations on the occasion, praising the prominent developmental achievements realized by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the King's prosperous reign along its civilizational path.
His Highness prayed to Almighty Allah to grant King Hamad continued good health and well-being, and to bestow further progress and prosperity upon the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people under his wise leadership.

Kuwait Amir patronizes, attends "Deerat Al-Khair" Nat'l Operetta

Under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, "Deerat Al-Khair" National Operetta was held on Tuesday at Bayan Palace Theater.
Receiving His Highness the Amir were Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology and Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Omar Al-Omar, Education Minister Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabei, and Voluntary Work Center Chief Sheikha Amthal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The event was also attended by His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and senior state officials.
The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by student performances of the national operetta, which highlighted Kuwait's unity, resilience and ability to overcome challenges through the ages.
On this occasion, a commemorative gift was presented to His Highness before his departure.

Kuwait Amir to patronize, attend "Deerat Al-Khair" Nat'l Operetta Tues.

His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, will graciously patronize and attend the national operetta "Deerat Al-Khair" tomorrow, Tuesday.
The ceremony will take place at 10:00 am on February 10, 2026, at the Bayan Palace Theater.
The national operetta is being held under His Highness's patronage as part of cultural and national celebrations, highlighting Kuwait's values, heritage, and spirit of generosity, and reflecting national unity and loyalty to the homeland.
The event is expected to be attended by senior officials, dignitaries, and guests, underscoring its national significance and the importance of artistic and cultural expressions in strengthening national identity.

In the cable, His Highness the Amir wished good health to the president and further progress and prosperity for his country and the people.

Kuwait Amir visits KFAS on 50th anniversary

His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, visited on Sunday the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) headquarters in Sharq on the 50th anniversary of its establishment.
Upon his arrival, His Highness the Amir was received by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, KFAS Director General Dr. Amina Rajab Farhan, and members of the Foundation's Board of Directors.
During the visit, His Highness the Amir chaired a meeting of the KFAS Board of Directors, reflecting his continued support for the Foundation and its strategic role in advancing science, research, and innovation in Kuwait.
His Highness also toured the Foundation's facilities, where he was briefed on its history and key achievements since its establishment. He addressed the Foundation's staff with his wise guidance, reaffirming his full support and encouragement, and praising the effective role played by those overseeing its work.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman conveyed to His Highness the Amir the warm greetings and appreciation of the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, wishing him good health and continuous progress for the people of Kuwait.
In return, His Highness the Amir conveyed his sincere greetings and best wishes to the Qatari Amir wishing him and his people continued development, prosperity, and stability.
