His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Tuesday a cable of appreciation to Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. In his cable, His Highness the Amir thanked the Bahraini King for his hospitality and warm welcome during his visit to the country, showing the deep brotherly ties between the two countries. In that matter, His Highness the Amir stressed the value that Kuwait holds for the relationship with Bahrain and affirmed the keenness to strengthen cooperation that benefits both sides. Furthermore, His Highness Sheikh Meshal expressed his gratitude to the Bahraini King for awarding him with the Order of Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, saying it has a profound significance in his heart and it embodies the strong brotherly bonds between Kuwait and Bahrain. His Highness the Amir wished the Bahraini King and his country more health and prosperity.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to Bahrain King Hamad bin Issa Al-Khalifa on the 23rd anniversary of the National Action Charter. His Highness the Amir praised Bahrain's achievements and wished the Bahraini King everlasting health and wellness and further progress and prosperity for his country.

King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa granted His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah the Order of Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa at Bahrain’s Sakhir Palace on Tuesday, in recognition and appreciation for his efforts to reinforce the bilateral ties between the two nations. The Bahraini King also dedicated His Highness the Bahraini Sword on this occasion. Poet Mohammad Hadi Al-Halwaji recited a poem that was appreciated by the attendance.

An official reception was held at Sakhir Palace for His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion of his state visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain on Tuesday. The motorcade of His Highness the Amir and King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain headed to Sakhir Palace accompanied by cavalry, and students on sides of the road holding flags of Kuwait and Bahrain as well as performance by traditional bands. A 21-gun salute marked arrival of His Highness the Amir, then national anthems of the two countries were played.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the official delegation accompanying him departed Bahrain after a state visit on Tuesday. His Highness was seen off at the airport by King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. His Highness the Amir was also seen off by the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, head of Bahrain national guard Sheikh Mohammad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Special Representative of the King Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, King's Representative for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, King's Representative for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Chairman of Bahrain Olympic Committee and head of the Public Authority for Sport Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. Also bidding farewell were Head of the Royal Court in the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmad bin Salman Al-Khalifa, Commander of the Defence Force Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa, Minister of Interior General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, Kuwaitآ’s Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Bahrainآ’s Ambassador to Kuwait Salah Al-Malaki.

King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain held a lunch banquet in honor of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation at Sakhir Palace in Manama on Tuesday on the occasion of His Highness the Amir's visit to Bahrain.

Official talks between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain were held at Sakhir Palace Tuesday afternoon, in which His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah chaired the Kuwaiti side, while King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa chaired the Bahraini side. During the discussion session, they reviewed the distinguished relations linking Kuwait and Bahrain and the bilateral cooperation, and ways to boost the established strong relatios. Discussions also addressed the pursuit of more partnership to expand frameworks of action to support and enhance the progress of the Gulf Cooperation Council, highlighting issues of common interest, as well as the latest regional and international developments. His Highness the Amir congratulated the King of Bahrain on the twenty-third anniversary of the National Action Charter of Bahrain, and wished perpetual development and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people under the leadership of King Hamad Al-Khalifa. The accompanying delegation of His Highness the Amir attended the session.

Fighter jets of Bahrain's Air Force accompanied His Highness the Amir's aircraft when it entered the Bahraini airspace. His Highness the Amir was received at the Airport by King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, head of Bahrain national guard Sheikh Mohammad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Special Representative of the King Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, King's Representative for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of supreme council for Youth and Sport, Chairman of Bahrain Olympic Committee and head of the Public Authority for Sport Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. Also receiving His Highness the Amir were Head of the Royal Court Sheikh Khaled bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa, Commander of the Defense Force Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmad Al-Khalifa, Head of the Mission of Honor and Interior Minister General Sheikh Rashed bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, Kuwait's Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Bahrain's Ambassador to Kuwait Salah Al-Malki.
