His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal, addressing His Highness the Crown Prince, stated, "On the occasion of the second anniversary of Your Highness assuming the position of Crown Prince, I am pleased to extend my sincerest congratulations and best wishes. This cherished national occasion reflects Your Highness' esteemed standing and pivotal role in advancing the prosperity and progress of our beloved homeland." "As we mark this significant occasion, we commend Your Highness' distinguished journey, characterized by dedication, sincerity and unwavering commitment to duty. These noble values have earned Your Highness the affection and appreciation of the people of Kuwait, who take pride in your continued efforts in service of the nation and its loyal citizens." His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Wednesday a telephone call from UAE's President Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Eid al-Adha.
During the call, President Mohammad expressed sincere congratulations to His Highness the Amir on Eid al-Adha, praying to Allah Almighty to return this blessed occasion with blessings and goodness to both Arab and Muslim nations.
UAE's President wished His Highness the Amir everlasting good health and further progress and prosperity to Kuwait, under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir.

The funeral service is to take place in the afternoon after 'Asr' prayers tomorrow (Wednesday).

Amiri decree issued appointing Finance Min. as Acting Oil Min.

An Amiri Decree was issued on Sunday appointing Finance Minister and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs Nora Al-Fassam as Acting Oil Minister.
The decree as follows: "Decree No. 154 of 2024 on appointing an Acting Minister.
After reviewing the Constitution.
And the Amiri Order issued on May 10, 2024.
And Decree No. 73 of 2024 in forming the Ministry, amended by Decree No. 140 of 2024.
And Decree No. 153 of 2024 accepting the resignation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, and based on the presentation of the Prime Minister.
We have decreed the following: Article one: Appointing Nora Suleiman Salem Al-Fassam, Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs as Acting Minister of Oil.
Article Two: The Prime Minister shall implement this decree, it shall be published in the official Gazette and be effective from the date of its issuance.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace on Monday the President of Kuwait's Supreme Judicial Council and the head of the Court of Cassation judge Dr. Adel Bouresli, where he presented Counselor Saleh Rasheed Al-Ragdan who swore in as Vice President of the Court of Cassation.
Also during the reception, Counselor Mohammad Al-Rifae swore in as President of the Court of Appeal.
His Highness the Amir also received the Deputy President of the high court, Counselor Khaled Al-Othman on assuming the duties of his new post.
Minister of Justice and Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohammad Al-Wasmi, and senior state officials also attended the meeting.

Amiri decree issued on the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Dr. Emad Al-Ateeqi

An Amiri Decree was issued accepting the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, Dr. Emad Al-Ateeqi on Sunday.
The decree as follows: Decree No. 153 of 2024 on accepting the resignation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil.
After reviewing the Constitution, And the Amiri Order issued on May 10, 2024.
Decree No. 73 of 2024 in forming the Ministry, including the amended Decree No. 140 of 2024.
And the resignation submitted by Dr. Emad Mohammad Abdulaziz Al-Ateeqi, as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil.
In addition to the presentation by the Prime Minister, we have decreed the following: Article One: Accepting the resignation of Dr. Emad Mohammad Abdulaziz Al-Ateeqi - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil.
Article Two: The Prime Minister shall implement this decree, it shall be published in the official Gazette and be effective from the date of its issuance.
