His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Sunday a cable of congratulations from President of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema for assuming the top office. The President wished His Highness the Amir good health, and more progress and prosperity for Kuwait. His Highness the Amir sent a cable to the Zambian president, expressing his utmost appreciation for the kind words, wishing him long-lasting health.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a congratulatory cable on Monday to Egypt's President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi, expressing his sincere congratulations on winning in the presidential elections as President. In his cable, His Highness Sheikh Meshal expressed wishes, success, and prosperity to the Republic under his leadership. His Highness Sheikh Meshal praised the historical, distinguished and established relations between the two countries, and asserted on the importance on the permanent and common aspiration to strengthen the bonds of these relations and advance the frameworks of cooperation between them in various fields.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Wednesday at Bayan Palace Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al-Thani and his sons Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Sheikh Mohammad bin Hamad Al-Thani, Sheikh Fahad bin Hamad Al-Thani and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. During the meeting, they offered condolences over the late Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, then congratulated His Highness the Amir on assuming office and wished him good health and a prosperous future for Kuwait under his wise leadership. The meeting was also attended by top state officials.

In the cable, President Marcos Jr. stressed his keenness to continue developing and strengthening relations between the two friendly countries, wishing His Highness the Amir everlasting wellbeing and more progress and prosperity for Kuwait. His Highness the Amir sent a reply message, enclosed with utmost appreciation for the heartfelt sentiments expressed by the President, praising the close relations between Kuwait and the Republic of Philippines The Amir wished President Marcos Jr. good health, and progress and prosperity for The Philippines.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Wednesday a cable of condolences to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva following the floods that resulted from heavy rain on Rio de Janeiro. In the cable, His Highness the Amir expressed his deepest sorrows and condolences over the victims of the floods and their families.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah signed an order Wednesday bestowing the title "His Highness" upon Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. The Order reads that the Prime Minister shall inform the National Assembly about this decree, which would come into effect from the date of its publication, and to be published in the official gazette.
