His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has received a cable from President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, voicing heartfelt condolences and sincere solace over the passing away of the late Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. In his cable, President Steinmeier recalled the late Amir's great role and legacy in serving his country. In reply, His Highness the Amir sent the German president a cable of thanks and appreciation for his sincere sentiments of condolences and sympathies, wishing him good health and wellness.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has received a cable from President of the Republic of The Gambia Adama Barrow, voicing heartfelt condolences and sincere solace over the passing away of the late Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. President Barrow also congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal on assuming power, expressing best wishes from him and the Kuwaiti people. In the cable, Erdogan expressed keenness on continuing to develop and enhance friendly bilateral ties, wishing His Highness the Amir everlasting good health, success and progress. His Highness the Amir replied with a cable thanking President Erdogan for such kind sentiments, commending deep-rooted ties between Kuwait and Turkiye.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Sunday received National Assembly Speaker Ahmad Al-Saadoun at Seif Palace. His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal, separately, received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and later, the head of the supreme judicial council and the court of cassation, justice Dr. Adel Bouresli.
