  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to the President of the France, Emmanuel Macron, over the passing of Former French Prime Minister Edouard Balladur.
  In the cable, His Highness the Amir expressed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to France and its people and wished his family and relatives solace.

  Kuwait Amir receives letter from UAE Pres. to attend UN Water Conference

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Tuesday a written letter from President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, inviting him to attend the United Nations Water Conference 2026.
  The conference is scheduled to be hosted by the UAE in partnership with the Republic of Senegal from December 8 to 10.
  The letter was delivered to His Highness the Amir by UAE Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Matar Hamed Al-Neyadi.
  The meeting was attended by Director of His Highness the Amir's Office retired Lt. Gen. Jamal Mohammad Al-Theyab, Amiri Diwan Undersecretary Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshal Mubarak Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Amiri Diwan Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Mazen Issa Al-Essa.
