Kuwait Amir receives chiefs of KDIPA, KIA, Brookfield, senior official

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Tuesday Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Amir also received Assistant Director General for Investment Operations at KDIPA Sheikh Abdullah Sabah Humoud Al-Sabah, Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Corporation Bruce Flatt, and the accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to the country.
During the meeting, His Highness the Amir stressed the importance of supporting investment and economic opportunities and fostering a competitive business environment that strengthens strategic partnerships with foreign companies.
He said such efforts would facilitate the exchange and localization of expertise, attract global investments, support the national economy, create employment opportunities for young people, accelerate development and achieve sustainable development goals.
For his part, Flatt and the accompanying delegation expressed their appreciation for meeting His Highness the Amir, reaffirming the company's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the relevant authorities in Kuwait and exploring further investment opportunities to support development projects and expand partnership prospects, contributing to the growth and development of the national economy.
