Kuwait Amir receives nat'l holiday congratulations from Crown Prince
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Tuesday a congratulatory cable from His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on occasion of the 65th national day and 35th liberation day.
In the cable, His Highness the Crown Prince wished the Amir good health and the people of Kuwait further progress and prosperity.
He recalled the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for their country and for its development.
His Highness the Crown Prince renewed vows and determination to continue working towards expanded horizons, and more achievements under the astute leadership of His Highness the Amir.
His Highness the Amir sent a response cable to the Crown Prince, thanking him for his sincere sentiments.
His Highness the Amir evoked the memory of the martyrs, whose sacrifices will remain immortalized in history.
He wished His Highness the Crown Prince good health and wellbeing, and for the state of Kuwait safety, security and affluence, as well as further ambitious developmental achievements.

Kuwait Amir receives letter from UAE Pres. to attend UN Water Conference
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Tuesday a written letter from President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, inviting him to attend the United Nations Water Conference 2026.
The conference is scheduled to be hosted by the UAE in partnership with the Republic of Senegal from December 8 to 10.
The letter was delivered to His Highness the Amir by UAE Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Matar Hamed Al-Neyadi.
The meeting was attended by Director of His Highness the Amir's Office retired Lt. Gen. Jamal Mohammad Al-Theyab, Amiri Diwan Undersecretary Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshal Mubarak Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Amiri Diwan Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Mazen Issa Al-Essa. -
