Kuwait Amir consoles families of deceased officers

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace on Tuesday First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah and the families of the deceased officers who passed away in the line of duty, Colonel Saud Al-Khamsan and Sergeant Mohammad Al-Hajeri.
The deceased passed away in a fire that erupted in the general administration building of correctional institutions.
His Highness the Amir condoled with the families and offered his sincere solace, recalling the deceased's heroic deeds and active professional roles.

    Kuwait Amir sends letter to Italian PM

    His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a written letter to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, concerning the close historical ties between the two countries and their peoples, and ways to strengthen and develop these relations, in addition to current developments in the region.
    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a press release, said that Sheikh Jarrah Al-Sabah handed the letter to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani during their meeting on Wednesday, as part of the Kuwaiti top diplomat's official visit to the Italian capital, Rome.
    The release added that the meeting addressed ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields, as well as the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

    Kuwait Amir receives letter from Mauritania pres.

    His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Tuesday a written letter from President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohammad Ould Cheikh Ghazouani regarding close relations between both sisterly countries and means to promote and develop them.
    Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was handed the letter while welcoming Mauritanian Presidential Envoy and Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad Dr. Mohammad Salem Ould Merzoug, said the Foreign Ministry in a press release.
    During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between both countries and the latest regional and international developments, and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, according to the release.
