  Kuwait Amir returns home after participating in GCC Supreme Council meeting in Bahrain

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah returned to the homeland on Wednesday following an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, where he headed the delegation of the State of Kuwait to the 46th ordinary session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
  At the forefront of the reception were His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah.
  His Highness the Amir was accompanied by an official delegation that included, Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Director of the Office of His Highness the Amir, retired Lt. Gen. Jamal Mohammad Al-Thiyab, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Amiri Diwan Mazen Issa Al-Issa and Assistant Foreign Minister for GCC Affairs Ambassador Najeeb Abdulrahman Al-Bader.

  Kuwait Amir sends cable of thanks to Bahrain's King

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable to Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifah expressing his deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and his accompanying delegation, which reflects the deep historical ties between the two countries.
  His Highness commended Bahrain for hosting the Summit, with the participation of Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and for the outstanding efforts and meticulous organization that led to the positive outcomes which will strengthen the GCC's progress and support sustainable development.
  The Amir reiterated his pride in Kuwait's relationship with Bahrain and wished King Hamad long-lasting health and the people of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

  Kuwait Amir departs Bahrain after attending 46th GCC Summmit

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation departed Bahrain after attending the 46th GCC Summit.
  His Highness the Amir was seen off at the airport by Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmad bin Salman Al-Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

  Kuwait Amir: GCC unity "proven" policy, "deterrent" against diverse challenges

  The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has relied on time and again on unity as a proven policy that deters challenges and achieves the mutual benefit of countries in the region, said His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday.
  Delivering his speech to the 46th GCC Summit held in Manama, Bahrain, His Highness the Amir reiterated that Gulf countries, through the awareness and vigilance of their people, had overcome highly complicated regional and international challenges.
  He added that stability, via collective security and unified destiny, will ensure peace in the region, saying that the previous 45th session of the GCC, headed by Kuwait, had addressed challenges and also focused on ways to boost cooperation among the council's members as well as regional and international partners.
  His Highness the Amir congratulated the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and his country on hosting the current session of the GCC, asserting that the Kingdom would help further boost cooperation amongst the six member countries.
  His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad also congratulated Bahrain on becoming a non-permanent member at the UNSC for 2026-27, reflecting Bahrain's strong international presence in global peace and security.
  Regarding issues of regional and international importance, His Highness the Amir condemned the Israeli occupation aggression against the State of Qatar, saying that the attack was considered an assault against the whole of the GCC.
  His Highness the Amir expressed condemnation of the Israeli occupation aggression against the Palestinian people, asserting that occupation must end and the establishment of a Palestinian state within the June 4, 1967 borders and East Jerusalem as the capital must see light in accordance with intensified international efforts aimed at the two-state solution, as well as ending the aggression on Gaza Strip.
  His Highness the Amir also vowed Kuwait's commitment to continue work with Iraq, based on understandings and mutual agreements, to complete marine boundary demarcation beyond mark 162 in accordance with international law and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
  His Highness the Amir also expressed appreciation towards GCC Secretary General Jassem Al-Budaiwi for his and the staff's at the GCC Secretariat, thanking them for their dedication.
  His Highness the Amir concluded his speech reiterating his gratitude towards Bahrain for hosting the current session of the GCC.

  The 46th GCC Summit convenes in Manama

  The 46th GCC Summit convened in Manama on Wednesday with the participation of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
  The summit is chaired by King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain, with the attendance of GCC leaders or their representatives, while Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is participating as the Guest of Honor.
  The summit is held amid strong interest by GCC leaders in supporting the Gulf cooperation process and enhancing its institutional capabilities to meet the aspirations of Gulf peoples and strengthen the Council's role in addressing regional developments and advancing Arab causes.
  Over the past two days, Manama hosted a series of coordination meetings for foreign ministers and officials from ministerial and technical committees, during which they discussed the draft final communique and summit declaration, and agreed to refer their recommendations to the Supreme Council for approval at the 46th summit.

  Kuwait Amir receives Italian PM at residence in Bahrain

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Wednesday at his residence in Bahrain the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the accompanying delegation.
  The meeting focused on means to bolster the strong ties in all possible sectors to achieve the interests of both countries.

  Kuwait Amir arrives in Bahrain for GCC Summit

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the accompanying delegation arrived on Wednesday in Manama, Bahrain, to head Kuwait's delegation to the 46th GCC Summit.
  His Highness the Amir and the accompanying delegation were received by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
  Also in reception were the personal representative of Bahrain's King Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, GCC Secretary General Jassem Al-Budaiwi, Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Minister of Finance and National Economy of Bahrain Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, Bahraini Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Wael Al-Mubarak, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf (Endowment) Nawaf Al-Maawda, Minister of Information Ramzan Al-Noaimi, and Governor of the Southern Governorate Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa, and the ambassadors of both countries.

  Kuwait Amir departs to Bahrain for GCC Summit
