Kuwait Amir arrives in Bahrain for GCC Summit

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the accompanying delegation arrived on Wednesday in Manama, Bahrain, to head Kuwait's delegation to the 46th GCC Summit.
His Highness the Amir and the accompanying delegation were received by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
Also in reception were the personal representative of Bahrain's King Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, GCC Secretary General Jassem Al-Budaiwi, Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al-Zayani, Minister of Finance and National Economy of Bahrain Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, Bahraini Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Wael Al-Mubarak, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf (Endowment) Nawaf Al-Maawda, Minister of Information Ramzan Al-Noaimi, and Governor of the Southern Governorate Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa, and the ambassadors of both countries.
His Highness the Amir's delegation includes Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Head of His Highness the Amir's Office Retired Lieut-General Jamal Al-Theyab, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Amiri Diwan Mazen Al-Essa, and Assistant Foreign Minister for GCC Affairs Ambassador Najeeb Al-Bader.
