  Kuwait Amir receives invite to attend 46th GCC Supreme Council session

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Monday a letter from King Hamad bin Esa Al-Khalifah of Bahrain inviting His Highness the Amir to take part in the 46th regular session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Wednesday (December 3).
  Handing His Highness the invite at Bayan Palace was Bahraini Ambassador to the country Salah Ali Al-Maleki.
  Attending were Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Sabah, director of His Highness the Amir's office retired Lieutenant General Jamal Al-Theyab, Amiri Diwan undersecretary Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshal Al-Sabah and Amiri Diwan undersecretary for foreign affairs Mazen Al-Essa.

  Kuwait Amir offers condolences to Bahraini King over Sheikh Ibrahim's passing

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Sunday a cable of condolences to Bahraini King Hamad bin Issa Al-Khalifa over the demise of Sheikh Ibrahim bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa.

  Kuwait Amir receives Crown Prince, PM, KNG Chief

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace on Sunday.

  Kuwait Amir congratulates Sultan of Oman on Nat'l Day

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent Thursday a cable of congratulations to Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the Sultanate's National Day.

  Kuwait Amir receives Vietnamese PM

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace on Monday His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, along with his accompanying delegation, on their official visit to the country.
  During the meeting, both sides reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations between Kuwait and Vietnam and ways to further enhance and expand cooperation to serve their mutual interests.   Kuwait Amir receives BlackRock Chairman, CEO

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace on Monday, in the presence of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, BlackRock Chairman and CEO Larry Fink and members of the company's board of directors, on their visit to the country.
  His Highness the Amir affirmed Kuwait's priority and strong commitment to enhancing new investment pathways and expanding economic cooperation, expressing appreciation for BlackRock's decision to open an office in Kuwait, noting that the move will contribute to improving the business environment, supporting global institutions, and encouraging capital investments that help drive the country's development.
  In turn, Fink commended Kuwait's longstanding efforts of more than two decades, which he said contributed to the economic transformation witnessed under the leadership of His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, and His Highness the Prime Minister. He stressed the company's aspiration to further strengthen its partnership with Kuwait in support of its economic vision for prosperity and sustainable growth.
  Fink also expressed gratitude for the trust placed in BlackRock, noting that the company is proud to be the first global asset management firm operating at full capacity in Kuwait, a reflection of the shared commitment to advancing the country's development objectives.
