Held the position of Assistant Undersecretary for External Supplies at the Ministry of Defense and Head of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense (1998 – 2001).
Served as Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince with the rank of Undersecretary (2003 – 2006).
Appointed as Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from February 2007 to November 2011.
Served as Minister of Information from November 2011 to February 2012.
