Kuwait Amir receives call from UK PM, discusses regional developments
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call on Sunday from UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham.
During the call, His Highness congratulated Burnham on his appointment by King Charles III to serve as Prime Minister and form the new British government.
The two sides reviewed the longstanding relations between Kuwait and the United Kingdom and discussed several topics of mutual interest, as well as the latest regional and international developments, particularly the current situation in the region.
Prime Minister Burnham reaffirmed his country's support for Kuwait and its people, stressing the UK's backing for all measures aimed at safeguarding Kuwait's sovereignty, security and stability.
His Highness the Amir expressed his appreciation to the British Prime Minister, wishing him good health and success in leading his country toward further progress and prosperity, and extending his best wishes for continued development to the British people.

Kuwait Amir receives phone call from Saudi Crown Prince
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call on Tuesday from Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The Saudi Crown Prince inquired about Kuwait, its leadership and people following the continued Iranian attacks on Kuwaiti territory. He strongly condemned the attacks and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's full solidarity with Kuwait.
His Highness the Amir affirmed Kuwait's support for Saudi Arabia and its backing of all measures aimed at safeguarding the Kingdom's security and stability.

Kuwait Amir condoles with Algeria over fire victims
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune over the victims of a fire at a child welfare institution in the municipality of Mohammadia, east of Algiers.
His Highness expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the victims' families, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His mercy upon the deceased, grant the injured a speedy recovery, and give their families patience and solace.
