Kuwait Amir congratulates EU Council Pres. on taking office

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent Tuesday a cable to President of the European Council Antonio Costa, congratulating him on taking office as the council's president.
His Highness the Amir praised bilateral ties and cooperation between Kuwait and the European Union, stressing joint keenness to develop them in all fields that serve the common interest and achieve progress and prosperity.
His Highness the Amir also expressed his keenness to develop the strategic partnership between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, as well as enhancing dialogue and cooperation to consolidates security and stability at the regional and international levels, wishing the President all success and wellness.
