  Kuwait Amir receives Crown Prince, PM, First Deputy PM

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Sunday at Seif Palace, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

  Kuwait Amir offers condolences to families of slain police officers

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah offered his condolences on Wednesday to the families of two police officers who were run over and killed while on duty, expressing his sympathies over the tragic incident. In cables he sent to the families of deceased police lance corporals Bader Al-Azmi and Talal Al-Dossari, His Highness the Amir wished that they would find solace in this time of grief.

  Kuwait Amir congratulates EU Council Pres. on taking office

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent Tuesday a cable to President of the European Council Antonio Costa, congratulating him on taking office as the council's president.
  His Highness the Amir praised bilateral ties and cooperation between Kuwait and the European Union, stressing joint keenness to develop them in all fields that serve the common interest and achieve progress and prosperity.

  Kuwait Amir receives written letter from Oman's Sultan

  His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace, Monday, a written letter addressed to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah from Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tareq.
  The letter focused on the historic relations between Kuwait and Oman and ways to enhance them on all possible levels. It also touched on regional and international developments.
  Omani Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Saleh Al-Kharusi handed in the letter to His Highness the Crown Prince.
  Attending the ceremony were Minister of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Undersecretary at the Amiri Diwan and head of His Highness the Amir office Ambassador Ahmad Al-Fahad, head of His Highness the Crown Prince office retired Lieut-General Jamal Al-Thiyab and Foreign Affairs Undersecretary at the Diwan of the Crown Prince Mazen Al-Essa.
