Brothers and Sons,

Since its establishment, the National Guard has been a pillar of other security and military sectors in the country, and my brothers and sons have always proved that they are always reliable for confronting internal security issues and maintaining vital public utilities

I am pleased to note the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of the Interior and the National Guard to enhance coordination and cooperation with a view of achieving areas of security integration between them.

Brothers and Sons,

We take this opportunity to express to Sheikh Salem Al Ali Al Sabah, Commander of the National Guard, and to his brother Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Deputy National Guard Commander, our appreciations for their unlimited efforts toward developing its members and enhancing their capabilities through continuous internal and external military training courses and providing the National Guard with state-of-the-art equipment, military equipment and advanced devices.
We pray to Allah Almighty to preserve our dear homeland, to perpetuate the blessing of safety, security and prosperity, to be merciful to the martyrs of this good nation, and to grant them mercy and forgiveness.

In this occasion,

I congratulate my brother Sheikh Salem Al Ali, my brother Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, my brothers and my sons on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the National Guard. This makes me more proud of every one of you and of what you have done. I witnessed this myself during the days of the brutal invasion and what you did to defend your homeland. May God bless you as a permanent asset for your country.
