Excellencies,
Ladies and gentlemen,

I would like to express our extreme happiness with this official visit to the Republic of Lebanon, and our sincere appreciation for the warm welcome and generous reception we received with the accompanying delegation. I would like to also thank your excellencies for the speeches you delivered, and the good feelings you expressed during this generous banquet, dominated by the atmosphere of cordiality that sincerely reflect the depth of historical and distinguished relations between our two countries and people.

Our visit to your country comes in the frame of our mutual keenness to exchange visits between political leadership and officials of our two countries, in materialization of our continuous pursuit for fostering these relations and enhancing methods of cooperation between them for their mutual interest.

We are glad that our visit to Lebanon coincides with the witnessed political stability, economic growth and national cohesion based on understanding and intimacy. This encourages us to introduce our mutual ideas and perceptions for expanding the frame of growing cooperation between the two countries in different fields, particularly the economic, commercial, investment and cultural ones.

We always appreciate the noble stance of out two countries in supporting their just issues and legal rights.

It is a pleasure that the State of Kuwait is in a forefront position among countries supporting Lebanon via what it introduced and is still introducing of help, support and development projects for the reconstruction of the damages left by the aggressive Israeli wars against Lebanon.

We in Kuwait believe that Lebanon is the Arabic civil and cultural dimension and reference, and we are always keen for its protection, prosperity and development.

In conclusion, I commend the brotherly atmosphere that dominated our official talks, discussions and exchange of views regarding different issues of interest for both our countries, particularly those related to mutual issues and means of enhancing ties of cooperation between them, and taking it further to wider horizons, where our views were consentient regarding those issues.

I reiterate my thanks and appreciation for Your Excellency and the attendees, wishing you all good health and happiness.
