HH the Amir received at Bayan Palace the Foreign Minister of Gambia Mambury Njie, who delivered a letter from his President Yahya Jammeh focused on bilateral relations.

HH later received former Italian prime minister and Cooperation and Chairman of the UN-AU Panel for Peacekeeping in Africa, Romano Prodi.
The two encounters were attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Deputy Minister for Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.
