His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace, on Wednesday, Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf and heads of the participating delegations in the 8th Conference of Arab Education Ministers, currently held in the state of Kuwait.

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was present at the meeting.
During the meeting, His Highness the Amir stressed on the importance of supporting the education sector in the Arab region. This support should be seen through unifying efforts to raise the performance level of all educational institutions by updating school curricula and adopting new teaching techniques.

Bahrain's Minister of Education Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi delivered a speech on behalf of the participating delegations by starting off with thanking His Highness the Amir for such warm welcome and then expressed gratitude to His Highness the Amir's directives that support all educational issues.

The Kuwaiti Education Minister also made similar remarks as his Bahraini counterpart and expressed his appreciation to the undivided support given by His Highness the Amir to the education sector in the country.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.
