His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received, on Tuesday at Bayan Palace, Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Ali Thunayan Al-Ghanim, First Vice Chairman Khalid Abdullah Al-Sagar, Second Vice Chairman Abdulwahab Al-Wazzan and members of the chamber.

The meeting was on the occasion of the Board of Directors' new formation.

His Highness the Amir emphasized the essential role of the private sector in boosting national economy and diversifying income sources.

His Highness the Amir called for unyielding efforts to keep up with all the latest regional and international economic developments.

KCCI's Chairman, meanwhile, said that His Highness the Amir's directives are like a niche in the business world, especially those related to truing the state of Kuwait into a financial center and a commercial hub.

His Highness the Amir, also, received Dr. Fayza Al-Kharafi, Head of Higher committee of the Second Kuwait Conference of Chemistry and the 16th Arab Chemists Conference, which is currently held in Kuwait.His Highness also received Union of Arab Chemists' Secretary General Dr. Ahmad Al-Ghamdi and the participating delegation in this event.

The two meetings were attended by Amiri Diwan consultant Mohmmad Dhaifallah Sharar.
