His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, accompanied by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, conducted Wednesday January 7th an inspection of the preparations for the upcoming Arab economic and social development summit to be held in Kuwait on January 19-20 at Bayan Palace.

His Highness Sheikh Sabah lauded the preparations for the summit, saying that the level of readiness here would ensure a successful event which would elevate the status of Kuwait amongst its Arab peers.

Sheikh Sabah was also accompanied First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Faisal Al-Hajji who is also the head of the high committee organizing the summit.

Deputy head of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, Minister of Finance Mustafa Al-Shimali, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipality Affairs Dr. Fadl Safr Ali Safr, and other senior officials at the Amiri and Crown Prince Diwans attended the inspection.
