Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah
attends National Nature Preserve

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah attended on Tuesday a luncheon at Sabah Al-Ahmad Nature Preserve organized by First Deputy Premier, Interior Minister, Defense Minister and Chairman of the Environment Public Authority Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

The banquet was also attended by H.H. the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Jassem Mohammad Al-Kharafi, senior members of Al-Sabah family, National Guards Deputy Chief Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, H.H. the Prime Minister Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, as well as top state officials and figures.

Upon arrival, H.H. the Amir was received by head of Kuwait's Voluntary Work Center Sheikh Amthal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the center's members.

On the luncheon's sidelines, H.H. the Amir was presented with a commemorative plaque from Kuwait Oil Company's Executive Assistant to the Managing Director for North Kuwait Khaled Al-Sumaiti on the occasion of discovering new natural gas fields in northern Kuwait.

On her part, Sheikha Amthal presented H.H. the Amir with sprouts of a rare tree that were transplanted by the nature preserve's staff.

H.H. the Amir released a number of rabbits and deer into the preserve.
