She thanked HH the Amir for attending the festival, which, she said, showed his appreciation for the great role by teachers and his continued support for the educational march.

Thanks to HH the Amir's wise leadership, the congenial atmosphere has been provided for developing and revamping the educational process in Kuwait on the basis that education is the natural gateway for keeping up with modern developments and the optimal way for a bright future, she said.

Thanking HH the Amir for unprecedented support for education, she vowed that all educational departments, officials and teachers would fulfill the expectations and hopes of HH the Amir, and would live up to their responsibilities for keeping abreast of state-of-the-art technology and preparing the sons of the nation in a sincere and honest manner.

The minister also patted all male and female teachers on the back for their great role in the educational process.

She finally thanked the Kuwait Teachers Society and the organizing committee for the successful festival. In his speech, Chairman of the Kuwait Teachers Society Abdullah al-Kandari thanked HH the Amir for sponsoring and attending the 5th festival "Thank You, My Teacher".

He also thanked all the attendees for joining the gathering, which showed their appreciation and support for teachers and their role in the education of the country's children. He promised that his society would seek continuously and painlessly to develop and improve the educational system so that Kuwait could become in the forefront of educationally developed nations.

For his part, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Chairman and Managing Director Bader Al-Mukhaizeem voiced great appreciation for the role of teachers, citing some verses of the Holy Quran and the Prophet Muhammad's tradition that praise teachers and scientists.

He stressed the significant mission of teachers in education, morality, behaviors and scientific research.

He then highlighted the KFH's financial support for school and university students, including annual aid, scholarships, computers and educational equipment.

In his speech, Fatima al-Zeir, chairperson of the festival preparation committee, said she was looking forward to a brighter educational future in the country.
