His Highness the Amir patronizes police students graduation

His Highness the Amir and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, patronized on Wednesday 23 April 2008 , the graduation ceremony of the 34th batch of police officers and 19th batch of specialty officers at Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences.

His Highness, whose motorcade arrived at the venue of the ceremony at 10:00 a.m. was warmly welcomed by Interior Minister Sheikh Jaber Khaled Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Interior Undersecretary Lieutenant General Ahmad Abdel Latif Al-Rujaib, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Back-up Security Services Affairs for Police Education and Training Major General Musaed Al-Ghuwainem, interior assistant undersecretaries, General Director of Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences Maj. Gen. Mubarak Al-Al-Mudaheka and senior officers of the academy.

The graduation ceremony was attended by HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Senior Sheikhs, Deputy Chief of the National Guards Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, senior officials and a group of families of graduated students and citizens.

Maj. Gen. Al-Mudaheka, after the national anthem was played and verses of the Holy Book were read, addressed the attendees with a statement, welcoming His Highness the Amir and affirming that ministry personnel would spare no efforts in the service of the homeland.

A flag exchange show was performed, the new batch of officers were formally appointed before swearing in.

His Highness distributed awards and certificates to distinguished officers, and Al-Mudaheka awarded His Highness the academy shield. The National Anthem was played at the conclusion of the ceremony, then HH the Amir left the venue of the ceremony with greetings by the attendees.
