The annual Kuwait University graduation ceremony was held on Tuesday morning, 20th March 2007, under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The Amir's motorcade arrived at Sheikh Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's Auditorium at the University's Shuwaikh campus at 10:30 a.m.

The Amir was received by the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Adel Al-Tabtabaei and Kuwait University Rector Abdullah Al-Fuhaid.

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Parliament Speaker Jassem Mohammad Al-Kharafi, Deputy Commander of the National Guards Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and other top officials joined the large audience of graduates' families at the ceremony.

The ceremony started with the national anthem followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur'an. The education minister was the first speaker, followed by Dr. Al-Fuhaid. Dalia Jassem Sadeq meanwhile addressed the audience on behalf of the graduates.

Sheikh Sabah then presented the graduates each with their diplomas.

Concluding the ceremony, Education Minister Adel Al-Tabtabaei presented His Highness the Amir with a token to remember the ceremony by.
