Under the auspices and attendance of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, a ceremony was held here Tuesday, 5th Oct 2010 , to honor teachers in the Education Ministry, a celebration which coincides with the World Teachers Day.

The opening ceremony was attended by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Abdullah Al-Roumi, as well as top officials of the state.

Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Moudhi Al-Humoud delivered an opening speech .
Then , Teacher Mohammad Al-Loqman delivered a speech .

His Highness honored around 331 teachers during the event.
