HIS HIGHNESS THE AMIR PATRONIZES
PAAET GRADUATION

 

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday 4th March 2015, patronized and attended the 2013-14 graduation ceremony for excelling students of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET).

His Highness the Amir distributed certificates to the graduates, and in the end of the ceremony, His Highness was presented with a memorial gift.

His Highness the Amir motorcade was warmly welcomed at the event venue by a group of leading figures, namely Minister of Education and Higher Education, PAAET Board Chairman, Dr. Bader Al-Essa, PAAET Director-General Dr. Ahmad Al-Athari and teaching staff.

The ceremony was attended by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, former National Assembly Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi, senior sheikhs, Deputy Chief of the National Guards Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, senior State officials and a large number of graduates' families and other citizens.

The minister, addressing the attendants, indicated that teaching is a basic factor of His Highness the Amir's visionary strategy of transforming Kuwait into an international financial hub by 2035.

For his part, Al-Athari said "we have been seeking to realize His Highness the Amir's visionary aspiration; so that Kuwait can turn into a pioneer in applications of renewable energy to cover 15 percent of the energy resources by 2030,".

Next, the graduate, Kuwait Bader Al-Saqaabi, made a statement on behalf of her fellow students, expressing gratitude to His Highness the Amir for his personal care for the graduates.

The ceremony, held at the College of Basic Education Theater in Al-Ardiya, got underway with Quranic recitation and screening a documentary about PAAET's accomplishments.
